Land uses JavaScript to setup the animation routine on the appropriate page sections and CSS3 to actually animate the items.
The library can be used with any type of pages, but it is more efficient when used with minimal landing and intro pages, where there's scarce content, and the user's focus is easier to grab by flashy elements appearing on the page.
Land can animate into view entire sections, but it can also be used to individually animate items inside those sections as well.
The library works with all CSS3-compatible browsers, and supports animating:
- opacity levels
- vertical and horizontal positions on the page
- rotation angle
- element's scale
These effects can be applied one by one, or combined into complex routines.
A demo is included with the Land download package to show developers how it can be implemented.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- CSS 3 enabled browser
