Labeling software was originally was designed to print to a parallel port printer and produce stencils for the chemical etching of stainless steel but has been changed or adapted over a period of time for other applications. The print Via Spooler tick box option still enables direct printing to a parallel port printer if one exists. A '#' entered in lines 1 to 6 indicates position for printing a serial number may be anywhere within the label text line. If serial numbers to printed are sequential then the line might be entered as Serial No 98760#, assuming the first serial is 1 then this would give first Serial as Serial No 98760001. If non-sequential serials are to be printed then the Non Sequential Serial Numbers tick box should be ticked and the required serial entered. Label Separation, Label Width, Number of Labels Across, Page Width, and Change Printed Font may be used to fit text to the label size used. Label formats and detail apart from Printed font may be saved via the save option.
