K12Linux "Live Server" is a server-oriented distribution of Linux derived from the popular Fedora Linux operating system, which in turn is based off of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It is intended as a live server OS that runs completely from a CD or USB media, built around the GNOME Classic desktop environment.
Supports 32-bit and 64-bit computers
The distribution is available for download as two Live DVD ISO images, one for each of the supported hardware platforms (32-bit and 64-bit). The user should download the ISO image that corresponds to his or her computer architecture and write it on a DVD disc or a USB thumb drive of 1GB or higher capacity.Offers standard boot options
When booting the ISO image from the BIOS of a computer, you will notice that the Live DVD will try to start the operating system automatically in ten seconds. Press any key to access the Live DVD boot menu, which offers standard boot options. From here, the user will be able to manually start the live system with normal configuration, verify the integrity of the bootable medium and then boot the live session, perform a system memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot from the local disk drive.
