Juice is a good alternative if you're one of those developers that's had his fill of Bootstrap, Foundation and all those pesky (and especially bulky) CSS frameworks.
This small package allows developers to skip on loading a large CSS framework with their smaller projects and only use a small SASS library instead, full of CSS snippets and hacks that cover all the basic styles and project quirks.
Using something like Juice also cuts down development time, since Web designers will not spend any more time writing basic SASS or CSS code to cover details like centering objects, responsive breakpoints, basic CSS animations, and so on.
They can simply load Juice and have those details covered out of the box.
If some of the Juice functions and mixins aren't useful to you, then just remove them from the library, or add some new ones yourself if the ones you're looking for aren't there.
