jsqrcode ports the QR code section of ZXing (Java) to JavaScript.
Just like the original, this library can do both jobs: encoding and decoding QR codes.
It can be used for generating a QR code from a given text, and for parsing images and video feeds and then decoding the QR code found inside them to its original text.
When generating QR codes, the actual image is rendered via the Google Chart API.
jsqrcode can be used in creating QR code scanners which users can utilize via their browser, or used in JavaScript-capable desktop apps that deal with QR codes.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- HTML 5 enabled browser
