jQuery SVG uses jQuery code to control when and how to load SVG images, and then edit, animate, or remove them from the page.
While this may seem redundant to the approach of generating this graphics inside a specialized graphics editor like Illustrator or Inkscape and then embedding on the page, there are those special situations where SVG imagery needs to be generated based on dynamic or highly user-personal data.
For these situations, jQuery SVG provides developers with a well-organized and well-documented solution for controlling SVG via JavaScript code.
The plugin can control all three major SVG type of graphic objects: images, vector graphic shapes (e.g., paths consisting of straight lines and curves) and text.
jQuery SVG can be used to build anything from dynamic drawing surfaces, to SVG charts, and even small animation movies.
