iScroll is a JS toolkit for supporting overflowed content in mobile browsers by adding overflow:scroll support for mobile Webkit browsers.

jquery.mobile.iscrollview implements the same functionality, but packaged as a plugin for the jQuery Mobile platform.

Plugin demos are included with the download.

What is new in this release:

  • Fixed options given in data-iscroll were merged too late, causing some page-level options (e.g. preventPageScroll) to be ignored if specified in data-iscroll.

What is new in version 1.3.0:

  • Added top and bottom spacer DIVs.

What is new in version 1.2.9:

  • Fixed wrapper height was calculated incorrectly if wrapper has padding and box model is padding-box.
  • Fixed typo in default scrollTopOnOrientationChange left the option uninitilized.
  • Vclick implementation in demo was broken.

What is new in version 1.2.5:

  • Changed demo to use fixed/persistent header and footer.
  • Insure that demo gets the current versions of .js and .css from /lib by using relative symlinks.
  • Use data-position="fixed" persistent header in demo. The use of persistent header/footer for other than Navbars is poorly documented in JQM. It works great in 1.1.1, but 1.0.1 will always transition the header with the page.
  • Use data-position="fixed" footer in demo. This is needed for correct operation of persistent toolbar. This works great in JQM 1.1.1, but there seems to be a slight problem still in 1.0.1, where sometimes you will see the footer slide with the page.
  • Fixed syntax error in calculateBarsHeight. This effected projects that use a persistent toolbar.

Requirements:

  • JavaScript enabled on client side
  • jQuery 1.6.4 or higher
  • jQuery Mobile 1.0.1 or higher
  • iScroll 4.1.9 or lower
