jQuery.LazyContent

jQuery.LazyContent allows webmasters to optimize their larger Web pages for better performance in today's Internet where page loading speeds matter to both search engines and users alike.

The plugin works by loading only the images visible on screen at page load, and loads the rest as the user scrolls down the page.

This way, only the actual content that needs to be displayed is loaded, while MBs of data is ignored only until it is actually needed.

jQuery.LazyContent can be used only for images, but it can also lazy-load other type of HTML content as well.

Demos are included with the plugin's package.
