jQselectable

jQselectable frees the drop-down select from the current customization constraints, allowing developers to use their own graphics package, overlayed on top of the browser default UI.

Support is included for both normal select lists and opt-groups, and also for disabled and pre-selected states.

Animations can be added to the panel when opening and closing it, while callback functions will help extend scripting capabilities even more.

A demo to help developers get started on their own drop-down select customizations is included with the download.
