jPod is a free, lightweight Windows application, replacing iTunes for managing almost all iPods. It offers standard library functionality (adding, removing, editing) in addition to playlist editing, easy backups, good cover art management, direct iPod-to-iPod transfers and more, all without any bloat.. The user interface is simple and fast, the executable clocks in at a fraction of a megabyte, and there is no installation necessary. Compared to its competition, jPod is more reliable, has a cleaner user interface, boasts all necessary features for managing your music and videos, and is small and portable enough that you can just keep it on your iPod. iPhone and iPod Touch are supported through the use of the small, free "jPhone" utility, by the same author, which allows Windows to access these devices (as well as iPad) as hard drives.
