jigl includes the ability to display comments and EXIF info for each image in a simple clean layout. jigl supports themes and is very customizable. jigl is written completely from scratch but the idea is heavily based on the program igal. igal did much of what I wanted, but there were a number of things I didn't like about it and found it difficult to modify. I wanted a cleaner solution, and thus jigl was born.
Here are some key features: jigl is one file - minimizing files for installation and maintenance; Optional info page with EXIF info from photo; Optional automatic watermarking of the slides; Control of where watermark is placed on the slides; Smart file creation, meaning thumbnails and slides won't be regenerated if they don't need to be.
