ISBNid allows developers to easily work with ISBN (International Standard Book Number) codes without having to read the entire standard and then create a special validator for these kind of IDs.
The library comes with built-in functions that allow programmers to easily detect ISBNs, even if they're in ISBN10 or ISBN13 formats.
Besides detecting and then validating a number against the international standard, the library can additionally convert a ISBN10 number to ISBN13, and vice versa.
New ISBN codes can also be created, the library checking and validating the numbers according to internal standards for each of the issuing countries.
ISBNid uses information from the isbn-international.org website.
ISBNid works with both major versions of the Python language, 2.x and 3.x.
