IRCXpro Messenger is an IRC client that mimics the behavior of an Instant Messenger. It works from the system tray and has it's own buddy list where you can add your friends or co-workers. It's fully IRC compliant and supports color in text, DCC (Send/Resume/Chat), CTCP, and IRCX. This chat messenger is ideal for beginners, people who spend long durations on IRC whilst doing other things and companies wanting to deploy IRC for internal communications.
Version 1.1 has been given a new look and now supports encryption for secure chats between messengers. Other new features include a channel watch list ideal for support technicians, personal profiles, group messaging, IRCop support, alert box (for received messages and other events)
