ImpelLaunch tool is essentially a 'stub' that will get around these limitations by launching any application or script that is passed to it. It allows for the input of credentials in order to launch the installer from a secure location on the local network. This tool is not restricted to use with ESD solutions. It can be run from a custom script, or used in the task sequence of an operating system deployment. impelLaunch does not display any windows, nor does it require user interaction, in order to cater for the security contexts used by ESD solutions.
What is new in this release:
- impelLaunchConfig now targets .NET Framework 4
- There are now two versions of impelLaunch embedded - one for .NET 2 and one for .NET 4. The UI has a toggle button to select which one to extract.
- Scripts are now supported directly from the UI
- There is a new variable available for use in the command lines called %WorkingFolder%. It evaluates to the folder that impelLaunch is running from.
- Keyboard shortcut added: ^N, ^O, ^S, ^E
