iEye Captain 1.0 adds over 30 features to EyeTV software, including infrared cable box and satellite control, multiple-disk managing, alias exporting, iCal reminders, rapid-fire screenshots, database support and much more, with an iTunes-like interface featuring playlists and savable advanced searches.

What is new in this release:

  • Adds PARTIAL Leopard support.
  • Necessary update for EyeTV 2.4 and above.
  • Interest has waned; please contact developer if you are still interested in continued development.

Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3.9 -10.5.x (PARTIAL Leopard support only).
  • EyeTV software 1.8.5 & up, including EyeTV 2.
  • (non-EyeTV hardware is supported).
  • Quicktime 6.5.2 or higher (Mpeg-2 Playback Component recommended).
  • iCal 1.5.5 is necessary for full reminder & infrared fuctionality.
  • Roxio Toast Titanium 6.1.1 required for DVD burning features.
  • ZephIR USB with Beta 2.1b12 software or IRTrans with iRed 1.4 for infrared support.
