If you have been frustrated trying to use the Bulk Upload in Hootsuite.com, download this completely free utility now and get the CSV file right the first time. This is an Excel spreadsheet that will check your file for errors and create output files that can be imported directly into Hootsuite.com in the correct format. Any ERRORS found will be HIGHLIGHTED IN RED with a comment what the problem is so you can fix the error before uploading the HootSuite. There's no need to tediously manipulate the date format and the endless trial and error, tweaking the file. The file(s) upload correctly the first time, every time. Here's a partial list of some of the error checking built into the macros: 1) No duplicate or blank tweets, tweet length, double quotes 2) Valid dates, no duplicates, time ends in :00 or :05, scheduled at least 10 minutes from now 3) URLs start with http://, no double quotes 4) Breaks up file into multiple files if there are more than 50 tweets to be scheduled 5) Highlights errors in red with a comment; highlights good entries in green 6) Optionally randomize tweets This is a Windows Excel 2010 spreadsheet with embedded macros, signed by Smart Little Kid, that must be enabled for the utility to work correctly.
