The Harlan Ad Server is a utility that listens to calls from clients and delivers pre-configured or random ads to them.
To use Harlan ads developers must embed a few lines of JavaScript on their site's source, just like with Google AdSense.
Once the ads delivered, Harlan tracks their usage and efficiency, letting the webmaster know which were more successful more than the others. This is done via HTML or Excel reports.
The Harlan Ad Server is not limited to ColdFusion and is technology-agnostic, being able to serve ads to any type of website, written in any type of programming language. The main condition is to embed the proper JS code snippet with its source.
