Hardledge is a knowledge system for management of petrographic information of igneous and metamorphic rocks. It is an advanced software for capturing, codifying, storing, processing and sharing detailed petrographic descriptions of igneous and metamorphic rocks, based on a high level geological ontology.
Hardledge integrates artificial intelligence and relational database technology for petrographic description. Using Hardledge, the petrographic descriptions are organized and distributed simultaneously to different queries.
