Full Screen Vertical Scroller (or just FSVS) is a nifty little tool that you can safely use and create those awesome looking one-page websites that you've been seeing all across the Internet these days.
To work properly, the plugin needs the developer to organize the site's content inside smaller sections.
These sections are taken and displayed one at a time, always being stretched regardless of the user's viewport size to cover the entire area of the page.
A simple dotted navigator on the side of the page will allow the user to switch in-between page sections, but support is also included for touch gestures, mouse wheel scrolling, and keyboard up/down key shortcuts.
Support for these features can be turned on or off depending on personal preferences, and a few more settings are also available for customization via the plugin's parameters.
We consider the Full Screen Vertical Scroller plugin an awesome tool to have around, but beware, there has been some backlash from the Web developer community against webmasters that opt to implement scroll hi-jacking techniques (used also by FSVS). So use with care and only in situations where the user is neither confused or annoyed by taking away his scrollbar.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery
