FG Joomla to WordPress

FG Joomla to WordPress is an alternative to the native Joomla-to-WordPress importer built by Automattic, the company that created WordPress.

This plugin has many more features and comes in two versions with extra support for Joomla's long lost brother the Mambo CMS, the original project from which Joomla was forked.

While the free version is probably everything you'll ever need, the Premium versions is also worth a look, especially since it supports add-ons that can add extra functionality for also importing content from various well known Joomla modules and components.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
