Express 3D is a free CAD viewer that allows viewing and measurement of all major 3D CAD formats. The unique feature of Express 3D is that it is completely CAD independent and does not need a license of the CAD software whose file the user is trying to view. Supported file formats include CATIA V4, CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3dxml), Unigraphics/Siemens NX, Pro/ENGINEER (PTC Creo), SolidWorks, Solid Edge, JT, Parasolid, IGES, STEP, VDA, STL, CGR, PDF and Point Cloud (.xyz) files. Express 3D supports latest versions of all these CAD formats. Besides the ability to view CAD data, Express 3D also includes tools to increase productivity - like linear & angular measurement, cross-sections, isolate parts to easily navigate visually through assembly files, check bounding box, apply material and calculate volume/weight among others.
