Excel DbfMate add-in allows exporting data from Excel worksheets or ranges to DBF files, and importing data from DBF files to Excel worksheets. Supported DBF formats: dBASE III Plus, Visual FoxPro, dBase IV (import only). Minimal environment: Excel 2007 on Windows XP
In Excel workbook, user can select a range of cells and export it to a DBF file by launching "Export to DBF" dialog. The export is configurable: dBase version, column data types, column names, code page, destination file. The export can be done in GUI ("Export to DBF" dialog), or in VBA. Only visible cells are exported, i.e. user can set a filter on Excel worksheet, and export only records matching the filter.
In Excel workbook, user can start "Import from DBF" dialog, select a DBF file, and import its data to a worksheet. The import is configurable: source file, destination cell in workbook, columns to import, range of records to import, code page. The import can be done in GUI as well as in VBA.
