Excel Builder lets developers out-source the task of generating Excel files to the browser instead of taking client-side data, sending it to the server, and sending back the Excel file.
With Excel Builder everything is done on the client's side, without over-crowding the server with an operation that can be performed locally at the same parameters and with the same results.
And since most of Microsoft's older Office files are nothing more than a bunch of XML data files bundled together, the library works miracles even in lower performance environments like the user's browser.
The Excel Builde library currently supports various Excel spreadsheet details like font customizations, number formatting, date formatting, multi-sheet files, custom layouts, headers, footers, mathematical cell formulas, and image embedding.
There are a bunch of ways you could use the library, and if it was up to us, every datagrid and table pretty-printing jQuery plugin should have it bundled by default.
