Developer comments
I'd love to hear your feedback on the game. Please tell me about any problems you've experienced. Since the game was developed under Mac OS, I'm especially curious about Linux/Windows related problems.
Feedback about coding/design issues is also highly appreciated
For further information see the README.txt contained in the ZIP file.
Features:
- Choose between a traditional Tetris or a quacking Entris game
- Play alone with increasing levels or challenge your friends online
What is new in this release:
- Finally removed an old bug: The controlled piece made occasional "leaps" over two columns that were unavoidable. Now fixed with version 2.02.
What is new in version 2.01:
- Entris 2.01 comes with a logo and a subtitle.
- Network play has been stabilized.
- Continuous movement of the active piece is now implemented, not optimal yet.
- Added the UP key to the rotation keys, to make playing single-handedly possible.
What is new in version 2.00:
- Version 2.0 contains a complete revision of the configuration menu at the beginning. Network play has been made more stable and versatile. Older versions are no longer compatible with the Entris server!
What is new in version 1.06:
- Network playing now includes monitors for each of your opponents' games.
What is new in version 1.04:
- Included an installer for Windows users.
- Replaced the default font.
- Reduced the music variations to a single one (this may be a drawback actually)
What is new in version 1.03:
- Players can enter a screen name for playing online. Watch your opponents' names fade out as they get knocked out of the game.
What is new in version 1.2:
- Refactored a bunch of code, improved some minor details.
Requirements:
- Python
- pygame
