Embun is a free operating system with a Malaysian flavour, which is based on the veritable Ubuntu.
Embun is Bahasa Malaysia for Dew - moisture condensed upon the surfaces of cool bodies especially at night; something resembling dew in purity, freshness, or power to refresh.
So as it is, we hope this will be something fresh for the majority of Malaysians especially those who have not yet tried an open source operating system.
It is a Live CD which means these CDs will boot your system which allows you to check for hardware compatibility and play around with Embun. It also includes an installer which can be run from the desktop environment once it has been loaded. Just double-click install from the desktop if you do decide to install it to your harddisk.
