Easy Timer is simply said a plugin for making countdown timers.
It can handle count up timers as well, but most of the features revolve around the necessity of displaying the amount of time left for a task or up to an event.
There are lots of available customizations via its settings panel in the WP backend, but it can handle various scenarios and style guides with ease.
And as you expect from a countdown timer, it works in real-time, updating without the need of a page refresh (via AJAX).
As a side feature, once the timer finishes, Easy Timer can also be configured to show/reveal a piece of text.
This means it can easily be used to schedule content on a site, perfect for teasers, trailers, or delayed content (while showing ads).
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
