dropfile.js works perfectly for old Internet Eplorer (9 and below), Google Chrome (5 and below), and Firefox (3.6 and below) browsers.
The library detects if the HTML5 File API is supported, and if not it will load a Silverlight widget and use it to let the users drag files inside a specific zone, automatically queuing them for a future upload operation.
dropfile.js also works with jQuery loaded on the page and usage instructions are provided with the package's README file.
A demo is included with the download package.
