DEMUX Framework is an open source, freely distributed and multi-platform Java framework designed especially for Java developers who are looking for an all-in-one tool to develop great looking desktop applications using latest JavaFX technology, supported on web, mobile, desktop and embedded devices. It’s designed from the offset to automatically handle the entire building process.

Create extensible and modular apps in Java

With the DEMUX Framework software, application developers will be able to use the same source code in order to run their applications on any platform. It allows you to easily create extensible and modular applications based on standardized OSGI platform. It’s much simpler and more flexible than the NetBeans and Eclipse integrated development environments.

The software provides a collection of recyclable modules, which can be easily dragged and dropped into your applications and customized as needed. The final product will be portable, supported on all mainstream computer operating systems, as well as on mobile devices or the Web. Additionally, third party modules can be created by members of the DEMUX Framework community.

DEMUX Framework can also be used to transform any Java application into a mobile app while keeping its core functionality, without having to modify its graphical user interface (GUI) too much. The software integrated well into the Apache Maven software project management and comprehension tool, allowing devs to get started in seconds, without having to go through a setup or any other unnecessary requirements.

Supported operating systems and requirements

DEMUX Framework is written entirely in the Java programming language, which means that it’s a platform-independent application that supports GNU/Linux, Solaris, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, successfully tested under 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures, and any other platform where the Java Runtime Environment is installed.
