DAFConnect

DAFConnect is a standalone, lightweight tool that makes it easy to load any file into SharePoint 2007 & 2010 or into a DAF Repository in the DigitalAsset Finder product. DAFConnect now makes it easy to load any file into a SharePoint library while enforcing the metadata rules defined by the library's content types. DAFConnect will install in your Windows based machine enabling you to quickly and easily send files to SharePoint from your desktop or Microsoft Office 2007 & 2010.

If you use SharePoint 2007 or 2010 you will certainly benefit from using DAFConnect for uploading your files into your SharePoint libraries. DAFConnect will save you time and effort by streamlining the process of importing documents into SharePoint directly from your desktop and Microsoft Office 2007 & 2010. Working with your unique user account and password, DAFConnect will securely access only the sites, libraries, and content types you have access to.

DAFConnect works with username/password/domain(were required) authentication to a SharePoint site as well as with Windows Authentication for intranet sites. The software does not stop there. It allows for manipulating (create/delete/rename) folders in a document library, all from a windows application. The software does NOT make use of the SharePoint Object Model, and everything is accomplished by accessing SharePoint Web Services.
