Currently Reading Book allows an admin to enter the ISBN code of the book he's reading and showcase it via one of his site's sidebars.
The widget's output can also be displayed anywhere on the site using the < ?php currently_reading_book(); ?> WP function.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
