Commentymous is a lightweight commenting system which you can easily add to any of your projects and provide a simple and intuitive way for your users to leave their thoughts and feedback on the site.
The system won't log their IPs and does not depend on third-party services like Disqus, Facebook, or Google+, working with a local MongoDB database.
It supports nested threads, different timezone settings, a comment rating system for easily detecting the best replies, and a skinnable interface.
Three Commentymous themes are included with the basic package, along with the ability to create your own.
On top of this, the comment section can also be sorted based on the most popular replies, the oldest, or the newest entries.
Support for mobile devices and responsive layouts is also included, along with the ability to easily open or close commenting sessions.
All in all a pretty solid commenting script, a powerful alternative to those laggy third-party commenting services.
