cd-discid is a backend utility for getting CDDB discid information for a CD. Originally built to be used with cdgrab (now named abcde), it can now be used for any application requiring CDDB queries. It has been developed with attention to the CDDB specifications.
What is new in this release:
- '--help' and '--version' options were added.
- There were also miscellaneous fixes.

- This version fixes building on Debian GNU/Hurd (i386) and polishes the man page.

- The --musicbrainz option was added, which outputs a TOC that is suitable for calculating the MusicBrainz disc ID.
