cb2Bib is an open source software designed for rapidly extracting unformatted, or unstandardized biblographic references from email alerts.

The cb2Bib is also able to extract data from PDF files and journal web pages.

What is new in this release:

• This maintenance release fixes an issue with temporary files when operated remotely, adds some code cleanups and speedups, and sets minor improvements in keyword extraction.

• This release fixes a gcc 4.7 compilation issue and sets minor keyword extraction improvements.

What is new in version 1.4.7:

• This version adds automatic keyword extraction from documents and keyword-based similarity views.

What is new in version 1.4.5:

• This release fixes the build error for newer linkers, explicitly setting X11 dependency.

What is new in version 1.4.4:

• Parsing of multi-keyword BibTeX entries and Cyrillic to ASCII transliteration for BibTeX keys have been added.

What is new in version 1.4.3:

• This version fixes two-letter initial author parsing, trimming leading spaces in Annote verbatim sections, Annote's monospaced font settings not being acknowledged, and just opened files set as modified if using Qt 4.7.

What is new in version 1.4.2:

• cmake based build configuration and compilation has been added.
• A bug when parsing some special XML PubMed has been fixed.

What is new in version 1.4.1:

• The download document functionality has been improved. Document existence is checked prior to downloading. Void documents are skipped from downloading and saving. Check is not performed for local documents. In addition, bookmarks netqinf.txt file has been updated and journal recognition enhanced.

What is new in version 1.4.0:

• The c2bciter module includes a chronological view of the references and improves navigation. A workaround to Qt's bug not properly clearing line edits is provided, and DOI's are postprocessed to clear them from URL formatting.
