BitSec Secure Folder is folder security software based on windows virtual file system technology which can transparently encrypt/decrypt files and lock folders, hide folders. Due to running within windows kernel, BitSec Secure folder is integrated with windows kernel, so it has the high performance, high security and high stability. Virtual File System itself has the characteristics like windows normal file system, so all operations of Virtual file system on files in Protected Folders has the same result like windows normal file system, furthermore BitSec Secure Folder has the special features such as "encrypt/decrypt files transparently", "lock folders, control access to folders", "not generate temporary files". As we know if we want to browser an encrypted file, the file should be decrypted on the disk, so software can read the correct file content. But at the same time, the file's plaintext content will be put in the disk, this is a vulnerability cannot be ignored for the protection of important documents. Because the raw data of the file already existed on the disk, even if these files are deleted, they can easily be found through the Disk data recovery tool.
