BEdita

What started out as a simple CMF, has evolved into a fully-blown CMS, thanks to the addition of a backend GUI.

Now BEdita is extremely user friendly and allows even the lesser technical experienced users to manage their content a lot more easier.

BEdita is a collection of tools, applications and components to help programmers create advanced, customizable Web 2.0 applications.

BEdita allows them to create multiple websites at the same time, to organize libraries and archives, implement e-commerce services, e-learning sites, blogs and many other more.

This is possible because of BEdita's modular structure which can be customized to handle any kind of content and their semantic relations.

The entire BEdita philosophy revolves around modules and add-ons, which site owners can add or remove from their project, based on what they need their site to do.

What is new in this release:

• BEdita now is released under a single open source license, GNU Lesser General Public License;
• A new wizard installer that eventually simplifies first install and configuration;
• Default editor TinyMCE has been substituted with CKEditor 4;

• User interface has new elements, and the dashboard has a new design;
• Routing rules in frontend applications have been improved;
