Barcode (Prototype)

Barcodes are a relatively new invention, a small visual indicator, scannable via laser and optic devices, used today for marking and tracking e-commerce products.

The Barcode Prototype plugin allows developers to generate barcodes following one or more international barcode standards.

Supported barcode formats/standards:
Codabar
Code11
Code39
Code93
Code128
EAN8
EAN13
STD25 (standard 2 of 5 - industrial 2 of 5)
Int25 (interleaved 2 of 5)
MSI
DataMatrix (ASCII + extended)

Barcode output mediums:
CSS (compatible with any browser)
SVG inline (not compatible with IE)
BMP inline (not compatible with IE)     
CANVAS HTML 5 (not compatible with IE)

This same library is also available as a jQuery plugin and PHP class.
