BackDroid is a free Android operating system, a custom ROM that includes lots of applications designed to help network administrator in penetration testing tasks. It's based on CyanagenMod CM7, Android 2.3.3, and Linux kernel 2.6.35.14.
With BackDroid, the possibilities are endless. You can use it for ethical hacking, forensics investigations, as well as for penetration and network testing. It includes Fling, NetworkDiscovery, Shark for Root, Wifi Analyzer, Wireless tether, and Wifi Test Auditor.
Keep in mind that this is not compatible with all Android phones, and that it will erase all your data and the current operating system you are using right now.
BackDroid is distributed as a zip archive that can be flashed on your Android phone using a custom recovery.
