Apache MetaModel

Apache MetaModel supports most of the major database systems around and is focused on providing the be-all end-all interface for running database operations in Java.

Using MetaModel reduces the learning curve needed when working with multi-database software, allowing developers to use the same code to run queries on various types of data storage engines.

This also allows them to write portable code, which can easily be used to support other new data storage systems in the future.
