Anti-spam

The Anti-spam WordPress plugin uses some nifty tricks to detect and block comments from automated spambots.

The plugin has no settings and will work immediately out of the box after activation.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

What is new in this release:

• Added blocked spam counter in the comments section.
• Cleaned up the docs.

• Added 'spam points' algorithm.
• Refactored code structure.

• Update input names.

What is new in version 2.2:

• Clear value of the empty input because some themes are adding some value for all inputs.

What is new in version 2.1:

• Added support for comments forms loaded via Ajax.

What is new in version 1.8:

• Removed labels from plugin markup because some themes try to get text from labels and insert it into inputs like placeholders (what cause an error).

What is new in version 1.7:

• If site has caching plugin enabled and cache is not cleared or if theme does not use 'comment_form' action.
• Anti-spam plugin does not worked; so now whole input added via JavaScript if it does not exist in HTML.
