What I really liked about Amok Exif Sorter was the wide array of available options when renaming the files. However, the program is not very user-friendly in this aspect, as there's no included documentation to explain all the possible variables - plus, the online help section is only in German. In any case, you can see a preview of the new name before applying it, which is always helpful.
Although it takes a while to explore all the renaming possibilities in Amok Exif Sorter, it's worth it. This program is a great companion for all digital camera owners.
