Aid4Mail MBOX Converter is a user-friendly wizard-based utility for converting mbox-type mailboxes to EML files. For example, you can use it as a first step to export Thunderbird to Outlook, or to Windows Live Mail. It is one of the rare free programs that fixes Eudora messages into fully compliant MIME messages. When found, Eudora's extracted attachments and embedded contents are reinserted into their email messages on conversion so that they are not lost when imported or viewed in other mail programs. Mbox-type files supported by Aid4Mail MBOX Converter include mailboxes from Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, Pine and Entourage. EML files are supported by many mail client program including Office Outlook 2010/2013, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, and Thunderbird.

Aid4Mail MBOX Converter includes helpful features, like automatically searching for the default location of Thunderbird, Netscape, and Eudora mail folders, an option to skip unwanted mail stored in the Trash and Junk folders, and context-sensitive help. Conversion features allow you to restore the source folder structure in the target location, merge multiple mbox files into a single one, set the file date of EML files to match the message date, and eliminate email duplicates by creating MD5 EML file names. Aid4Mail MBOX Converter is a genuine freeware product that will not annoy you with intrusive adware, spyware components, or nag screens. It comes from Fookes Software, developers of the market-leading Aid4Mail email converter and the award-winning NoteTab text editors.
