abcm2ps is an open source command-line software written in C and designed to help users convert music tunes from the ABC format to the music sheet PostScript format.

Being based on version 1.2.5 of the abc2ps software, abcm2ps introduces many extensions to the ABC language that make it suitable for classical music.

The software has been originally designed to print baroque organ scores, which have independant voices played on one or more keyboards, as well as a pedal-board.

Actually, abcm2ps is an extension of the abc2ps application, designed to handle many voices per staff.

What is new in this release:

  • Fix loss of line break when %%postscript at start of line.
  • Fix bad SVG output when 'show' before 'stroke' or 'fill' (reported by David Lacroix).
  • Fix bad position of elements built from PostScript code with 'ltr' in SVG rendering. (reported by David Lacroix).
  • Update config.guess and config.sub from http://git.savannah.gnu.org/ (asked by Deepak C Shetty and Snehal).
  • Add 'color="black"' in tag.
  • Fix bad font of string starting with non-ascii character (PS output) (reported by David Lacroix).
