Smartjax was created for situations where AJAX calls to the same server over and over again for the same call might lead to a temporary ban or blacklisting.
The plugin works by caching the first server response to an AJAX call and reusing it for a period of time whenever that call is made over again.
Smarjax was specifically developed to work with API servers where the results tend to be the same and where queries over the API limits might disable the developer to have his account disabled.
A secondary effect of this plugin is also a speed boost to the page's interactions, since some responses to the user's actions are retrieved from a local source and not after waiting for a remote server's response.
A small demo and usage instructions are included with the Smartjax download package.
