SportsPress

SportsPress is not only one powerful tool for managing everything that can be managed from a sport, but is also flexible enough to work with any kind of sport, not only the default soccer/football setup included by default.

By going to the options page under the "Settings" tab in the WordPress backend, team, player and game details can be adjusted to cater to any sport out there.

This means from basketball, to baseball, judo, volleyball, American football or even tennis, all kinds of sports can be managed via the SportsPress interface.

SportsPress also features a statistics module, taking stats added for every team and player, either implicitly from game results or by hand by a developer and automatically compiling it into overall player stats and team league tables.

This means that league standings and personal player awards are automatically compiled as soon as the result of a game is entered and the statistics are always up to date without the need of manual labor from the part of a webmaster.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
