Franc is an 100% JavaScript language detection solution written as an alternative to Google, Bing, Yahoo! and other language detection APIs.
Currently the library already supports more languages than all of these services and can be used for both client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments.
Franc currently supports 165+ languages. This includes common languages like English, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic, and even some semi-unknown ones like Adangme, Ewe, Chokwe, or Nyankole.
A demo and usage instructions are provided with the package's README file.
