Nex

Nex is a powerful jQuery plugin that will let developers create full-page image slideshows that work in the page's background.

The plugin can be used to display photos, videos and maps, and is very easy to setup.

The default Nex layout includes a thumbnail slider at the bottom of the page from where users can jump to specific slides, but also a dotted pagination system included as a less-intrusive paging utility.

A progress bar is also displayed at the bottom, showing how much time the current image will still be visible on the page.

Keyboard shortcuts are supported for navigating through the slider, while touch support is provided on mobile devices.

All of these elements can be turned on or off via the plugin's parameters.

Additionally, the Nex slider also comes with many other more settings, allowing users to add image titles, captions, redirection URLs, alt attributes, pattern overlays, image filters, and hover effects.

Custom skins can also be used with Nex, allowing developers to let their imagination go wild and build beautiful fullscreen image galleries for their projects.

Lots of Nex samples are included with the download package, helpful in showing developers how the slider can be implemented.
