The IP2Location Python Library works with both versions of the IP2Location database, free and commercial, and also with both versions of the IP protocol, IPv4 and IPv6.
The library allows developers to create Python applications capable of connecting to a local or remote IP2Location database, sending an IP address to it and retrieving the desired results.
These results can then be used inside the local application or website to build geo-aware features, different for each user, based on his real-life geographical location.
