Adapt.js

Before sending the page to the user, this library analyzes the device screen resolution and serves the appropriate CSS stylesheet file.

Adapt.js is also capable of resending new CSS files whenever the user resizes the browser window, or loads another page.

All in all, a pretty useful tool to have around especially if you work with responsive websites on a daily dose and you want to create a fallback mechanism for browsers that don't natively support CSS 3 media queries.

A demo is included with the download package.

• Sometimes a brief flash of unstyled content is observable when new stylesheets are being loaded.
