JQuery HTML5 fullscreen is a plugin for working with the HTML5 Fullscreen API, allowing the developer to control or detect when a page goes into fullscreen mode and when it comes out.
The plugin doesn't merely provide an alternative to the browser's built-in fullscreen mode, but wraps the new HTML5 Fullscreen API, providing support for making individual page elements go into fullscreen mode as well.
This means developers can use the JQuery HTML5 fullscreen plugin to make just a certain DIV appear in fullscreen, or even only a selected image.
And the best thing about it is even if the HTML5 Fullscreen API is still under development at the W3C foundation, most modern browsers have already implemented it and the plugin will automatically work fine with most of them.
A sample page is included with the download package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
