Apollo.js uses the HTML 5 classList API to interact with a page's content and manipulate an element's classes.
This is totally different from what jQuery uses, jQuery being created and then adored by millions of developers for the easy way it did DOM manipulation in the first place.
Because of this totally different approach, Apollo.js is much more faster, and not to alienate professional developers, it also comes with support for some legacy browsers in case HTML 5 is not supported.
What is new in this release:
- Use lowercase module definition.
- Move to Gulp.
What is new in version 1.6.0:
- Array of classes support.
- Syntax enhancement.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
